A nonprofit benefitting the children of the Baltic nations.

  • Brigitta’s Promise assists children in Latvia and other Baltic countries to obtain medical treatment, procedures, and equipment they would otherwise not have access to. Nonprofits with traditional fundraising approaches are struggling. A younger generation wants to see how the money they donate is used. We developed the model to sell the equipment and services online. This model allows the donor immediate gratification seeing they contributed to or purchased something for a child/family in need. An online community will be developed where they can communicate with the recipients and see videos of the kids/family receiving what they purchased for them.

 
 

The Baltic region is home to the largest known deposit of amber. Because amber is a conductor, Baltic cultures believe it absorbs diseases and aliments when placed on your body.

 
 
 

Most of the images of children came from family photos and screen grabs from the video we produced while in Latvia. The translucent nature of amber led to the concept of overlaying colors on photos to deal with the poor quality of images available.
